    Het kan zijn dat de angststoornis al aanwezig was en dat je het onderdrukt door drank(zelfmedicatie).Alcohol kan helpen om te ontspannen en om je moedig en ongeremder te voelen. Het probleem is dat de angstige gevoelens met de kater dubbel zo heftig terugkeren. Ik spreek uit eigen ervaring; ik ben opgenomen geweest met een angststoornis en dit was na een periode niet drinken. Alcohol lost niets op!
